Your Homeowners Policy Coverage Limits
Your homeowners policy contains several “categories” of insurance protection, each of which has its own coverage limit. As illustrated below, some of your limits are preset-based on a percentage of the coverage your select for your dwelling.
Typical items included within your property coverage categories are listed below. Together, this information can help you compare your respective coverage limits with the sum values of your different types of property. If you feel a change is in order, you can usually have your limits adjusted.
